The Bible assures us that if we believe in Jesus, we will be saved. The "prayer of salvation" is the most important prayer we will ever pray. When we are ready to become a Christian, we are ready to have our first real conversation with God! When we pray the prayer of salvation, we are letting God know we believe God’s Word is true. By the faith God has given us, we choose to believe in Him. So, when we pray, asking God for the gift of salvation, we're exercising our free will to acknowledge that we believe in Him. That demonstration of faith pleases God, because we have freely chosen to know Him.
Prayer of Salvation - Five Simples Steps.
1. Confess your sins: Father God, I’m a sinner.
2. Repent of your sins: I’m a sorry for my sins.
3. Ask forgiveness for your sins: Please forgive me for my sins.
4. Invite Jesus into your life: I want Jesus Christ to be my personal Savior.
5. Ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit: Fill me with your Spirit so I can live by Your power.
Now pray this prayer with us:
"Dear God, I'm a sinner. I'm sorry for my sins. Forgive me of my sins. I want Jesus Christ to be my Savior. I want to be filled with your Holy Spirit so I may live my life with Your power. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Now What?
Tell someone ( a friend, your family). Congratulations in making this major act of faith in accepting Jesus Christ into your heart as your Savior. Now we want you to tell someone that you just prayed the prayer of salvation. Contact your friends and let them know; also, please notify us by sending an email to Rev. Andy Fernandez, at info@iam-ministries.com.

Supporting Scripture on your new relationship with Jesus.
Romans 10:8-13
"The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Acts 16:31
They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."1

Arminianism is the doctrine that "man" has the free will to choose salvation, and can also lose salvation. It is the work of God and man co-laboring to make salvation clear and secured. For as a man has total "free will" to choose salvation, he also has total "free will" to lose his salvation. It becomes a battle of the wills, God's wills verses man's will, or both working together.
Calvinism, in the other hand, teaches "once saved, always saved". There are some limitations regarding this doctrine, on the topic of whether salvation is only granted to the "elect" or is it offered to all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. It can possibly become an issue of exclusion, rather than inclusion. Could these two doctrines possibly work together for the good of those who can, and will be saved without changing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its ordinance?
What do you think?

Decisions, for each day I am reminded that we are a by-product of our decisions. For scripture states "Today you have the right to 'choose' life or death." If ever, we as human beings had an opportunity to consider our eternal destiny it is now (today). For each day we make decisions regarding our future, our children, our vocations, our families, our marriages, our food, our insurance policies, and even our bank accounts. How important is it to consider these finite things, without ever considering those things which are eternal and infinite. For every one who chooses life over death, Christ over material gain, truth rather than self philosophy, and love over hate has a wonderful opportunity to invest into their eternal destiny. Knowing, and resting on the trustworthy statement in scripture that says "For anyone who believes in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and resurrected from the dead shall be saved". For securing your resurrection in Christ, is as important, as life itself. For there is an appointed reward for those who acknowledge their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Imagine a place of pure splendor, majesty, righteous government, where the abundance of life (not materialistic gain), the joy of the heart, the purity of soul, the everlasting harmony of God and man, and where peace shall reign far from disease, hurt, pain, sorrow, or illness exist and dwells. For in the eternal presence of God, their is abundance of life and joy. Could you see yourself there, would you see yourself there, and could you choose to be there. So choose.
Food for thought; "It is better to live life believing there is a God, and later find out that there was none, then to live life believing their is no God, and later finding out there was one!!" This is not based on scripture, but found it to be trustworthy of reflecting on. :)

"It is finished", these were the last Words of our Savior before his incredible resurrection. There is no other plan, no other solution, no other resolution other than to come to the full knowledge and acceptance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For it is impossible to please God, or even see God, let alone dwell in the presence of God without acknowledging his Son. For scripture is clear in John 14: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". It is the duty of the Church, with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, to reveal the grace and beauty of our Savior to every citizen of this globe. For without Christ, man's eternal future is dark, glummy, and certainly painful. To understand the magnitude of the eternal conditions of man, one must not compromise what it clear, and that is, that anyone who does not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be completely separated from the presence of God. For we can try to explain sheoul, death, grave, Hades, and hell to believers and unbelievers, but one thing is certain there is no limbo, no purgatory, and no resting place for the guilty who belittled the Son of God and his sacrifice. We are either eternally blessed, or eternally damned, for the Son of God can no longer suffer again, nor can he be sacrificed again. To live in Christ is total gain, but to die without him is total lost. Just image being totally lost for eternity...........

There is a sense, that a times, we as human beings have a tendency to overlook, over react, and over analyze situations in life which eventually leads to our own understanding. We have a tendency to want to know all, explain all, and master all, but when dealing with the Word of God (truth) and faith, we need to submit to its authoritative power. There are things that will never be known, things which God himself leaves to "mystify" his sovereignty. How could one believe in someone so predictable? For, to try to understand God, we try to understand man, but "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?". This statement reveals that God's ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are greater than our thoughts. "Special Creation" reveals the omnipotence of a big God, who with a breathe of his nostril changes the formation of a galaxy. There is much evidence through the Word of God, scholars, and studies that "special creation" should be taken at face value. For the greatest evidence found is in the study of his Word. The word "Yom" found in Genesis, in the original context in Hebrew is a numerical adjective which means a duration of twenty four hours (24). Any other word could have been used, for example "olam" which mean "an indefinite long period of time". But, the Bible and it's writers were intentionally specific that the Hebrew word "Yom" was to be used, in order to be clear of truth. God himself wanted all readers to understand that he (the Lord) created the heavens and the earth in six days, and on the seventh day rested.

It is my opinion that "The Belt of Truth" is the most important spiritual armor that a Christian can possess. For the belt of truth is what holds all the other armor in place, and give relevant strength and power to resist and aggressively tackle the works of the enemy. Without "truth" our faith is distorted, our peace is limited, our salvation becomes harder to believe, our sword becomes dull, and our breastplate will be warped. For the "truth" is what sets us free from the lies of the enemy, and the indulgences of this world.

It is clear that after reviewing this wonderful outline of information, that the influence and existence of demons are prevalent in the world. The question though still stands, whether "a Christian" or a "Spirit filled Christian" can be possessed by a demon(s). It is my contention, that in order to try to address this question we need to define what is a Christian, and what is a Spirit filled Christian?
A Christian can been defined as an individual who believes in his/her heart, and confesses with his/her mouth, that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that he resurrected from the dead. Romans 10
A Spirit Filled Christian can be defined as a Christian (above), who has been baptized (immersed) and filled with the Holy Spirit, and who now has the Spirit of Christ dwelling in him/her. Acts 1:5 (i added some additional scripture below)
It is hard to fathom that Christ would share his dominion with a demon spirit(s), if the believer has been filled with the spirit of Christ - and Christ has taken residence in his/her heart. For it is clear, that Satan himself was casted out of heaven when his great rebellion took place. It is important to understand that every Christian should desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to resolve some of the controversy regarding demon possession. I do believe that Christians can be influenced, and at times assist in acts of rebellion against God's work - just ask Judas & Peter. But, considering that these acts were performed prior to the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I must contend that it is hard to fathom that the Holy Spirit would reside and make his home in the heart of a believer and share his residence with a demon spirit. Just take into account the word "unoccupied" in the scripture Matthew 12:43-45. The evil spirit found rest in the home, which was unoccupied, not necessarily in order, or cleaned up. Food for thought.
Here is just a few scriptures which is rich;
Acts 1:5
For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
Luke 11:13
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
John 20:22
And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you
Acts 2:38
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:15
When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
Acts 8:16
because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 8:17
Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Acts 11:16
Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
Acts 19:2
and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" They answered, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."
and the list goes on.

Those who have eyes, will see. And those who have ears, will hear.
If you look around you, if you tune into the media coverages, if you simply visit some of the local Churches, stop by your small businesses, or visit your neighbors house, you will be amazed to find that demonic activity is very prominent. They do not tangibly manifest as a "horny" red caped entity. But, are found in the subtle behaviors, conducts, and doctrines, embedded within a worldly system, that "sells" you dreams for truth. If we were to conduct surveys about the physical, mental, and spiritual condition of families throughout different cultures, we would be utterly amazed at the percentage of illnesses, prides, traditional influences, idolatry, mental & physical handicaps, wicked, unclean, and self indulging conditions of citizens throughout the world. Demonic activity (demons), clearly are devising strategies and assisting in plans to preach a system of peace, wealth, prosperity, oneness, without Christ. Jesus has become another commodity, rather then the Son of the Living God. Another traditional entity, rather than Savior and Lord. These influences, and the veiling of his deity thwarts the sovereignty of our God, and is in direct line with the opposing forces of demons which want to hinder his work. Take into account this question "even as believers, are we promoting and selling a ministry, the name of a Church, the book of a man, or are we promoting & proclaiming Christ?" Just something to think about.:) It is that subtle.

In sight of the Word of God, and the great outlines being reviewed in this study, it helps me consider one of Satan's strategies in Scripture. He (satan) is known as the "tempter". Temptation is a luring away, by enticing the fleshly or weak desires of man. If there is something weak in a believers life, Satan is certainly seeking for it. For scripture says 1 Peter 5:8 "8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." As believers it is important to work out our salvation with "fear and trembling" and to be alert (vigil) at all times. Wisdom calls to be vigilant, for there is an enemy of our souls, who does not rest.

It is important to consider that "angel" means messenger - before attempting to depict the totality of Satan's deception on many. Satan is considered a "messenger" of light. Messengers always have a message, and engraved within the message of "light" is the edification of self, self freedoms, self indulgences, self power, self centeredness, self sufficiency, self government, self purpose, self forgiveness, even to the point where you empower yourself to even forgive "God" - etc. Self pride is rooted in the very center of this doctrine, and you could see it clearly in society, in cultures, in businesses, and even if looked closely, within "oneself". This message of "light" encourages your deepest emotions, "if you feel good" it must be right. It is a very suddle doctrine which sometimes wakes us up in the early hours of the day, and asks "so what can I do, to make myself feel good today" rather than "what can I do to obey God today". It becomes a doctrine of "me" rather than of Jesus Christ, and dying to self.
The message of Satan never directs you to "the light of the World" (Jesus Christ), but emphasizes greatly the empowerment of self, and its freedoms and government. John said it clearly, "he (Christ) must increase, and "I MUST" decrease. This is truth!

Understanding that everything is created by him (God), and for him (God), is key in embracing the unique ways that God uses all things for the good of those who love him. If God wants to use a donkey, a raven, a prophet, or an angel to accomplish his work of salvation and the glorification of his Son, we must humbly respect and rejoice in that. In sight of the totality of God's majesty we are just part of that grand plan, and the angels also play an important part. God's total sovereignty is our focus, and not swearing by, or exalting above, but respecting his creative hand and everything in his creation can help in the uniqueness of -how he holds "everything" together. Colossians 1:15-23

Pride, self indulgence, the me's, and the I's, the self centered, the self sufficiency, the vengeance, and the criticism against our brothers and even our enemies are just some of the ways that we exalt ourselves above God and his Word. For God has given us the beauty of his Word, and his Son to reveal to us the importance of humility and obedience. For God speaks of obedience as an act of love toward him and his sovereignty, and humility as a way of life to the believer. Not false humility, but one who acknowledges that no-one can act, or take the place of God.

Angel in hebrew means "messenger". Throughout generations we have been trained to think that angels are some kind of "ghostly" entities with supernatural powers like "casper the friendly ghost". Some worship angels, some speak to "their angels", some pray to angels. But, scripture is clear, they were created by God to assist in the divine plan of salvation and the building of God's kingdom. They are not to be worshiped, but respected. Their purpose as a messenger, is to assist in the message of the gospel (truth). Even though they may have diverse roles in the plan of God, they are holy and submitted to God's full authority. Some worship God, some protect, some assist, and even some battle, but all worship and obey.

Who could explain the totality of our eternal God? Who could define or dictate his immense nature, purpose, and will? Who could go into the chambers of his presence, and correct or question his wisdom? For the Word of God says in 1 Corinthians 13 "Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known". Just ask Job where was he when God created the heavens and the earth? Or John when he received a new "revelation" (unveiling) of God's nature. Trying to completely define God and the trinity in some analytical way, limits his existence and his eternal character. I have learned that right when I thought I have embraced the totality of life and my understanding of my faith in God, he reveals another side of his eternal nature. Many have tried to explain the beauty of the trinity by analogies that are depicted in nature, physics, and even intellectual philosophies. But, one thing I know, "the righteous shall live by faith" for faith is the substance that pleases God and the substance that will ultimately shield you from your own prides, intellect, and or the darts of the enemy.

The Spirit of God, is God. He carries his wisdom, his characteristics, his likeness, his thoughts, his purpose and his power. Receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is necessary to labor effectively both spiritually and physically to do God's will and purpose (establish his kingdom). Will, as it may, but God himself will not fail in establishing his righteous kingdom in man and on earth. If peace is required to maintain "unity", so be it. If "holy anger" is required to correct effectively, so be it. If spiritual warfare and war must be unleashed to accomplish his purpose, so be it. God and his Holy Spirit, with Christ by their side is not small by our own understanding - that he could be contained in a box, Church, program or paradigm. God is infinite in all his ways, and he empowers individuals, the Church through his Holy Spirit to be a able, capable, and an effective people - to move with authority (power).

Thank you Jesus for our friend and counselor the Holy Spirit.
For what would we do without the person of the Holy Spirit? For he (Holy Spirit) is one of the reasons why Jesus ascended to the highest heavens so that each one who believes in the Son of God can receive his indwelling. You have been brought by the Blood of the Lamb, but have been filled with his spirit. The sign, and permanent residence of the spirit (breath) of God living in a believer is the seal by which we know that "salvation" has been eternally given and granted. What beauty, what enormous love that God would fill us with his breath, as he did the moment he created Adam. The "Ruah" (spirit, breath) of God filling us in our inner man, to be made in his image and likeness (Christ). For we know now, that we are "in" him, and he in us, and we are one with the father because of his spirit and Son.

One of God's soaring beauties, created by God's own hand. It has the ability to fly high in the heavens and it's innocences reveals the unspotted absence of sin in a believers life. This by all means is one of the functions of the Holy Spirit in a persons life to sanctify, purify and make Holy to the day of our coming Savior. For known shall see God unless they are Holy. For the Holy Spirit himself is the breath of God and comes from the very essence of his holiness that is why he is called "Holy".
Unwrinkled, for the touch of a Dove's feather is like the soothing touch of those whose first love has not grown weary by the darts of the enemy nor by the pollution of sin in the earth. For even the sight of a dove is "pure" to the onlooker, and gentle in flight. For the Holy Spirit is a "gentleman" and he sooths the worries of life by his counsel.
For Christ suffered, died and was buried (sacrificed) in order to shed the blood necessary for the forgiveness of Sin. And as he resurrected he ascended to the highest heaven to send he "The Holy Spirit" to comfort and counsel you. For even the dove reflects the nature of Christ and the Holy Spirit that he would share similar characteristics in the act of sacrifice.

Many of the differences that we find throughout the history of Christianity has be formed by the interpretation of "What is Truth". For denying the deity of the Holy Spirit can be considered blasphemy, and we must all be careful as stewards and students not to diminish, belittle, nor add or take away from the truths and works of Almighty God. There is a place in the study of his Word where revelation, inspiration, and unwavering truth is found in "balance" to the nature of God. It is not the kind of truth that confuses, but a truth that frees us to indulge in his nature, character and Word. Over stating, or elevating the Holy Spirit can also be dangerous, for we find that many of the issues found in the pentecostal and charismatic movement of the early 70's led many astray from the Gospel and opened a world of problems to "new revelation", or additional scriptures. There isn't new revelation aside form his Word, for we only live by everything that proceeds from the "mouth of God" and not the mouth of "man". Let us rest ashore that there isn't anything new under the Sun, and that the revelation of his perfect Word is what we should lean on.

It amazes me to consider that in the inmost part of the Holy Spirits thoughts, mind, and purpose, he has considered my life to be so important, that he takes the time to pray for me with words that utterly I can not understand.
Have you ever taken time out in your day to pray or intercede for someone because that person was weighing heavy in your heart. You love them, you care for them, you desire good for them, you think about them, or even cry for them? The nature of the Holy Spirit, is one, that his love for every believer overwhelms him to the point of painful tears. He quenches thirst, he guides in love, in prepares in holiness, he speaks to those who need to be counseled, and he helps those in distress. For who can think of a person in this way, without being a person himself?

Hallelujah, I am thankful for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is certainly a person, and indwells in the lives of all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. His gifts, roles, and relationship to a "Christian", is vital for the work of the ministry and the walk for which we all will give an account. Without him it is impossible to live an effective, and holy life in Christ. And, he is one of the reasons why Christ ascended into the highest heavens, so that all may be comforted, counseled, and filled by him. For his personified presence is real as he teaches, witnesses, convicts, regenerates, direct, commands, intercedes, guides, and performs miracles in the life of the believer and the corporate life of the Church. For he prays for you today, continually before the presence of the father, with groaning to see you achieve your place in Christ.
Romans 8:26
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express".
Romans 8:26
