1 Kings 19:11-13
11 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
Reflection:
What has God said to you? Has he spoken to you? Has it been hard to hear God? Has God's voice been muffled by the storms of life, and the uncertainty of tomorrow? There are times in life when it seems almost impossible to hear God. When the cold nights are prolonged by the brisk of a winter breeze, and your soul longs for comfort, if not a warm fire or an encouraging friend. As a seasoned christian I can tell you I have witnessed these moments many times before, and these are the very moments that exercises our faith and prompts us to draw closer to God.
There are always highs and lows in ministry, in life, and in our daily affairs. Just like the great prophet Elijah whose name means "Yaweh is my God". He had been destined to live life passionately, he had reach the height of his call, a man who trained his ear to listen to God, who was anointed to speak for God, and who can call fire from heaven or cause a drought by a simple spoken word from his lips. Elijah's convictions were real, he was passionate, he was convinced and he was on a divine mission. But, like many of us, he had his moments where running seemed like the best option, when hiding seems like the only solution, and where an overly pompous view of himself led him to know how weak he really was.
In the cave is where this story begins, and I can tell you many prophets are hiding in caves throughout the world silenced by their fragility and fearful of their speech. God had told Elijah to stand on the mountain, to remove himself from the cave and stand upon the obstacles that obscure his vision. Mountains are designed to be conquered and God did not tell him to kneel on the mountain, or lay on the mountain, but to stand on the mountain. As God prepared himself to pass Elijah by, the Word says that three events took place. First, a strong wind passed by, this wind represents the incredible hurricanes that wist away your hopes and blows away your dreams and everything you believe in (please notice the wind was so strong it shattered the rocks). Secondly, an earthquake jolted the core of the earth and rattled Elijah causing devastation and uncertainty as continued tremors will cause our soul to shake. Finally a fire was ignited, and this fire breathing prophet had known very well that Moses had seen a fire, and that God had answered his own prayers as fire had consumed the sacrifice on the alter. The interesting part of this scripture is that God said he was in none of these events. Sometimes we look for God in miracles, in signs and in wonders. But God said he can been found and heard through a whisper of his voice. You see, when our trust and faith is based on miracles we forget that God is only true to his Word. Jesus said in Luke 4:4 "Man does not live by bread and water alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God". He didn't say miracle, he didn't say fire, nor wind, nor earthquake he said Word.
If you are feeling weak, be comforted and know that you have joined a cloud of witnesses that have experienced the same winter. It dawned on me the other day, if God is silent maybe he wants to grab your attention. Maybe he wants you and I to draw closer and share our innermost thoughts, concerns, desires or prayers. Or just maybe he wants you and I to listen more intently. I encourage you to go invest time with God this week and silence your cell phones, your tvs, your radio, or even your thoughts. Take a walk, drink a coffee, drive a car, or take a retreat but invest time with God and let him whisper direction and hope for your life and new year. Incline your ears to him today and listen to what God wants to say to you, you may just hear him!

The birthing place for miracles.
We at I AM Ministries International have purposed to make prayer the heartbeat of every branch of our ministry and establish it as one of the fundamental principles which continues to make our ministry effective and anointed. Jesus said in Luke 19:45-47 "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be a house of prayer....." For this matter we intend on teaching every member the importance of living a prayerful life, and encourage everyone to intercede effectively with sincerity, faith and in unity.
Third Saturday each month
If you would like to be part of our prayer team or simply invest time in communion with the Lord, we currently meet Wednesday Nights at 7:30pm for Corporate and Individual Prayer. We pray that even now your day will be blessed and that you may live in the grace and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Come and experience prayer, at the "House of the Lord".

There are available ministers who will pray and intercede for you and your family if you are sick, in surgery, or facing difficult times in your life. If you are in need of these services feel free to post your prayer requests or petitions on our webpage on the "comment section" provided below.
Our ministry periodically checks to see all petitions made known to our Church members webpage. By posting your prayer request, it will ensure that our intercessors will lift up your needs before the Lord on a weekly bases, and at our monthly prayer vigil held every third Saturday of every month.

A prayer minister will contact you as soon as possible, once your information has been processed and your phone number becomes available.
Then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.40 "Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.41 "Now arise, O LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, may your saints rejoice in your goodness.42 O LORD God, do not reject your anointed one. Remember the great love promised to David your servant."

It is important that those who have ears listen, and those who have eyes see what the Spirit of the Lord is saying and doing.
Recently, in reflection of everything that is happening around the world and in the body of Christ today, it has come to our attention that we are in an incredible time in history. Ever since the foundations of the world, God has greatly desired to commune and dwell amongst his people. For thousands of years his voice has echoed throughout the heavens and earth calling out to his creation to turn back to the One True God and reverance him.
Jesus Christ the Son of God stepped down from his heavenly dwelling to come and redeem mankind from his corruptable nature caused by sin and rebellion. Jesus being in the very nature of God took the form of a man and as a servant came to reveal the Father to us. Since his first coming, death and resurrection all creation has been awaiting his return as he has promised. Many believe perhaps he was speaking figuratively and others literally. But, one thing is for sure; he said "I will return".
It is in light of this truth that I AM Ministries has purposed to prepare individuals, souls, and families to seek out the truths about our Lord Jesus Christ and his message. There is no greater joy than to know that your relationship with your creator is full of life, love and reverance. We encourage all believers and non-believers to participate in Churches where Jesus Christ is preached and exalted from its pulpits and services. We believe it is only in light of the Saviors message and truth that all mankind can be redeemed and restored.
We invite you to come and listen to the Word of God, experience his presence, and fellowship with the brethren in a warm cozy environment. We currently meet three times a week at our posted cell groups and Sunday's for corporate worship and prayer. "Worship washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
The tender heart of worship is a heart that embraces the Lord almighty, and enthrones him at the seat of one's soul. Giving homage to the Lord in spirit and in truth is a believers ulitmate expression of love, humility and respect. There is absolutely nothing which replaces or revives the heart like the ultimate expression of true worship through the Spirit.
For worship is the reason we breath, serve, fellowship, and sing. Worship is it!!! Worship will turn the heart of a sinner to God, and an old saint into a child. We at I AM Ministries International are passionate about pursuing worship in everything we do and preach. For the songs, praise and moving lyrics of our worship team is a simple expression of something deeper that is birthed at the core of our heart and soul.
Musicians & Leaders
I AM Ministries International is interested in networking with "Christian Musicians" and "Leaders" who are absolutely thirsty for God. Our ministry reaches the young at heart, and those who are also little rough around the edges. Ultimately, everything we do in faith is a sacrificial offering to our Lord, and simply put "for the audience of one" through worship.

What a wonderful opportunity we all have, today! Salvation is the opportunity that everyone has in the One True God who offers humanity spiritual life and redemption from sin. Jesus Christ the Son of God sacrificed his life so that through his blood all humanity may be saved. As you study and acknowledge the life of Jesus Christ you will learn that his life, death, burial, and resurrection reflects the new life of each and every believer. It is the most important decision that every sinner will make that will allow him or her receive restoration with their eternal creator.
For the word of God says in John 3; "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again."

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, I come before you today understanding that without you in my life, I am nothing. I come to you sincerely, asking you to forgive me of all my sins and wash me in the blood of your forgiveness. I understand that I need you in order to walk in your ways, and obey your commands. Jesus, I ask that you baptize me with the Holy Spirit, and fill me with your love, your grace, your mercy, your Word, and your life. I confess with my lips and believe in my heart that you are Lord and Savior of my soul, and that only through your shed blood I am redeemed and forgiven. Please change my life and transform me through the power of your love. I want to be born again. In Jesus name I Pray. Amen.

The Word of God says; "you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." The beauty of the Church is not the walls, nor the lights, or even the carpet, it is the souls which make up the body of Christ.
I AM Ministries intends on reaching out to every soul right where they are. Experiencing God in the nature of your own home and family is an unforgettable and irreplaceable experience. We teach families the importance of building spiritual alters at home, the breaking of bread, prayer, and studying the Word of God together as a family of believers.

11 The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land

like a spring whose waters never fail.

The mouth of the LORD has spoken.
